Karthika masa is an auspicious month for Shiva. The whole month is very special for devotees who will be enganged themselves completely worshipping Shiva. On the mondays in the month devotees perform karthika somavara vratha. On the first monday of this month, vedic temple performed samuhika mahanyasa puja, rudrabhishekam and Shiva Puja.
