Ekadasha Rudram

Ekadasha rudram was chanted in the Vedic Temple on Nov 22nd on the eve of Karthika maasa, the most auspicious month for the worship of Lord Shiva. Everyone must be well aware of the greatness of Sri Rudram, the verses in praise and salutation of Lord Parameswara alias Sri Rudran. Chanting of Sri Rudram, verses that form the central portion of Krishna Yajur vedam is considered very auspicious and effective in invoking the blessings of the Supreme Lord. Ekadasha Rudram is chanting of Sri Rudram at a stretch eleven times over with one chapter of Chamakam every time in between. There was great response for Ekadasha Rudram chanting at the temple. Many people came to just experience the chanting and really loved the experience !! They were just spellbound to hear the chorus chanting of Sri Rudram. Below are some of the pictures taken during the event.
