Lord Nataraja in Chidambaram receives abhishekam and new alankaram only 6 times
a year! It is to re-emphasize the fact that Gods live in higher realms of consciousness
where their 1 day is several months on earth! Goal of each of us is to elevate to
that higher consciousness! In the Vedic temple in Seattle, we follow
the same calender and celebrate this auspicious day with a new alankaram for Lord
Ananda Nataraja, the main diety of the temple and also the tallest Nataraja in the
US. Significance of the form of Nataraja was explained and Nataraja Sahasranamam
